Re-Spirit by Georgina Jeremiah

Re-Spirit is an intimate and emotive response to those moments in which nature makes her feel alive. Nature has the power to make all of us feel alive, because we are a part of nature. When we re-spire, Georgina believes we not only gratefully accept the oxygen nature provides us with, but we re-spirit our souls through our connection with her. Georgina hopes that these photos serve as a catalyst to encourage you to find your own connection with nature, and with what makes you feel alive.

Pembrokeshire Craft Makers present Jo Thomas and Dawn Steward

Jo Thomas has been a member of the group for several years. She is a self-taught artist who has lived for much of her life in Pembrokeshire. She paints mostly in oils and but also with water colour and pastels combined. Inspired by exploring the local beaches and countryside in Pembrokeshire, she creates atmospheric landscapes as well as wonderfully observed figurative images of families enjoying moments by the sea and on the sands. Dawn Steward is a Welsh folk artist known for her vivid, jewel-like colour palettes, often inspired by the landscapes and coastal beauty of Pembrokeshire. She works with acrylics on wooden panels and she also uses resin over collaged work which not only enhances the depth and luminosity of the colours but also acts as a protective layer, preserving the artwork over time.
