HMS Erebus: from dockyard to discovery

When HMS Erebus set off on Franklin's expedition in 1845, she became the subject of one of the most compelling maritime mysteries of our time. This unique temporary exhibition showcases never-seen-before artefacts recovered from the shipwreck, in a reconstruction of a ship's cabin, complete with a "hologram" of this ship's iconic bell.

Meeting Father Christmas at Picton is an experience for the whole family.
