Halloween events in Pembrokeshire
Halloween and the half-term week is a really exciting time to visit Pembrokeshire, with lots to see and do for families with little ones. We’ve compiled some fun events to get you in the spirit of Halloween…
The fairground stalls have been given a spooky Halloween makeover at Folly Farm and you’ll have a chance to win prizes by taking part in their popular Scarecrow Trail and card hunts. If you’ve never seen singing pumpkins, keep your eyes peeled!
Grab your wellies and pick your own pumpkin! With a range of different pumpkins to choose from including Polar Bear (large, white), munchkin (little, bright orange) and more, a new spooky woodland play area and a Halloween grotto, there’s plenty to do.
Pick your own pumpkin from the Giant Pumpkin Patch. You might just bump into a spooky Scarecrow or two along the way, or get lost in the mysterious maze…
There are lots of events to choose from here, including a Skeleton Trail, Fireside Ghost Stories, and of course, it wouldn’t be a castle without some Horrible History! Click here to see all the events and book your tickets.
Ride All Day. Scream All Night!
Getting ready to haunt you this Halloween with 4 chilling horror mazes… get ready for the scare!

Picton Castle Gardens’ Family Halloween
Mostly taking place in the gardens (decorated with pumpkins galore!), there’ll be trails and puzzles, and The Welsh Owl Garden & Zoo will have handling sessions with their creepiest of crawlies.
Don’t forget to pick up your free goody bag at the ticket office, and dress up in your spookiest outfit, because there’ll be a photo competition to determine the most petrifying little Pictonite!
There are tons of things to do here, with lots of creative options for an afternoon of arty activity, while also learning about plants and animals found around the county. But don’t worry, there’s still a spooky twist – think Bats, Spiders, making lanterns and building creepy-crawly hotels! Click the link to see all events and to get tickets.
Don’t forget to dress up – children in Halloween costume enter for free! There’ll be a pumpkin hunt, a skeleton trail and plenty of spooky seasonal décor all around the castle.
The Addams Family 2… Everyone’s favourite spooky family film is back in this animated comedy sequel
