In a year that Wales will celebrate a ‘Year of Discovery’, The Big Retreat Wales will return to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 2019 with an edition that promises to bring adventure, culture, outstanding natural beauty and importantly, complete discovery.

The UK’s greatest feel-good festival The Big Retreat Wales will return to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park next month with a stellar edition that promises to bring a fusion of all the things that make us feel great.

Opening on Friday 24th – Monday 27th May 2019, the feel-good festival has announced an array of new additions to the schedule which will celebrate everything that makes us feel good, all designed to stimulate the mind, body and soul and help visitors to discover something wonderful.

With an impressive line-up of more than 200 activities included in your ticket price. including fitness and yoga, cookery demonstrations, bushcraft, comedy, music and even rum and gin workshops, everybody has a chance to discover a new hobby, rediscover and an old one. Do as much or as little as you please all weekend.

Joining the line-up this year is the nation’s best-loved daytime TV presenter Matt Johnson and life coach Ben Bidwell, who together are known as ‘The Naked Professors’ – hosts of a new podcast that aims to strip down the perceptions of mental health.

To balance out some of the ‘naughty-but-nice-go-on-just-one-more’ in the cookery tent, there will be nutrition talks and juicing workshops where visitors get all the motivation and know-how to kick start a mini health and wellbeing revolution in their own kitchen.

Whether you’re taking a workshop with breath expert Richie Bostock or whetting your appetite in the Cook Tent with TV Chef The Dirty Vegan,  there is an entire programme of your very favourite things to do including how to hack your happy hormones by The Cor Collective.

Also joining the line-up for 2019 is Mind Body Ninja Kim Ingleby, Shahroo Izadi author of The Kindness Method, Shiona Redmond – from Grace’s London, Toni Jones of Shelf Help Club and The Nordic Sisters to name just a few.

The Big Retreat Wales will take place on the stunning Old Castle Site in Lawrenny from 24th to 27th May 2019. Day tickets cost from £15, with weekend adult passes starting from £159  and under-5s admitted free. Admission includes access to all on-site fitness and wellbeing sessions, workshops, talks and live performances, whilst additional cost will be charged for on-site massage and use of hot tubs.

The Family Half Term Package costs £499 and includes weekend festival tickets for 2 adults, 3 kids, camping, car parking and camping extension – a saving of over £70 per family.
