Along Pembrokeshire’s breathtaking coastline, where wild cliffs meet rolling surf and golden sands, a community surf organisation is transforming how people experience the sea. Blue Horizons was born from a simple belief: the ocean should be for everyone. Using local beaches, the team has created a thriving hub where surfing, community and accessibility come together in powerful harmony. At the heart of Blue Horizons’ mission is adaptive surfing — an inclusive approach that enables people with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities to experience the thrill of riding a wave. Families and friends often surf side by side, blending the lines between “adaptive” and “non-adaptive” sessions. Blue Horizons also offer accessible boat trips.
