Great Western Railway runs trains from London Paddington, Bristol and the South West to Carmarthen. It’s just one quick change on to a Transport for Wales train for services direct to wonderful destinations in Pembrokeshire.

Whether you're a student, a frequent traveller or just a natural explorer, there’s a Railcard for you. From just £35, you can get up to 1/3 off train tickets and discover a world of adventure.

Little ones go free

Don’t forget, Children aged 5-15 get a 50% discount on most tickets and under 5s travel free!

GroupSave

If you're travelling in a group of between 3 and 9 adults, get 1/3 off standard off-peak tickets when travelling together using GroupSave.

Save over 50% when you book in advance

Advance single tickets are one-way tickets available on many of our most popular routes. They’re great value, but numbers are limited so you’ll need to be quick.

A little closer to town, GWR’s Off-Peak Day Return tickets are great value for a spontaneous visit.

Coming from London or Reading? Leave at any time on a Friday or Saturday, return any time on a Monday and save over 60% compared to an Anytime Return. Travel from London Paddington to Carmarthen with return Long Weekender tickets.

Milford Haven

Milford Haven developed as a whaling town in the late 17th century and due to its position sitting on the shores of the largest estuary in Wales and one of the deepest natural harbours in the world, it’s history is firmly connected to the sea.

Tenby is probably the most iconic seaside town in Wales, rivalling places like Mevagissey and Polperro for quaintness and charm.

Saundersfoot is a small seaside resort in between Tenby and Amroth. It’s much more compact than Tenby and has a charm and character of its own. In many respects Saundersfoot is a much more accessible seaside resort.

Fishguard comprises of the old harbour of Lower Town, the main town of Fishguard, perched on the cliff top. Lower Town Fishguard is a particularly picturesque village with its cluster of quayside cottages.

Pembroke is a charming walled town which dates back over 900 years and is famous for its Norman Castle. Pembroke Castle is one of the most complete Norman castles in the UK. It was the birthplace of Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty.
