Music in Pembrokeshire

What could be grander than a classical concert in the magnificent surroundings of St Davids Cathedral or an acoustic set done in a tiny cafe overlooking the sea in Tenby?

There are international music festivals held across Pembrokeshire where the finest musicians and soloists gather to celebrate classic, and contemporary works at the St Davids Cathedral Festival and Fishguard International Music Festival.

If your passion is Blues and Jazz, you must head to the Tenby Blues Festival or to Fishguard’s Aberjazz. International artists from around the globe, pack the pubs and clubs from noon to midnight.

For lovers of folk, Fishguard is the place. As well as their Folk Festival that takes place every May, the pubs in the town and surrounding areas host informal weekly folk nights. You’ll never know who will be performing.
