About Stackpole Under the Stars
Our family-run and family-friendly camping and glamping site is a little green oasis, tucked away behind National Trust woodland and bordered by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park countryside. Yet we’re less than 10 minutes drive from historic Pembroke. It’s the best of both worlds. If you’re seeking a place to unwind, in a quiet rural location but within easy reach of what others may call ‘civilisation’, you’ll love it.
When you camp or glamp with us you’re sleeping under the stars within the beautiful Stackpole Estate. We’re a stone’s throw from Bosherston Lily Ponds and we’re the closest campsite to the famous Barafundle Bay. The wild surf spot of Freshwater West is less than 15 minutes’ drive.
Our hay meadow features a mown games lawn and is criss-crossed with pathways ideal for barefoot toddling or scooting. Our five grass camping pitches border the meadow so you can always see where your children are playing. Each pitch has a picnic table and we let out fire pits – complete with grill rack for barbecues. Cars are parked off the field after set-up, leaving the site safe and peaceful for all.
Our glamping accommodation provides a real rural retreat. You can stay off-grid in our two beautiful hand-built yurts or two 7-person safari tents. For those who enjoy extra home comforts, our luxury glamping pod with electric, has its own shower and loo.
In the on-site shop you can buy fresh bread and milk, groceries, treats and locally crafted cards and souvenirs. Our Wash Room has a sink, a washer, dryer, fridge and freezer. Our guests rave about our shower and toilet pods which have even converted non-campers!
Oh, and you can sample our delicious wood-fired takeaway pizzas and even try your hand at axe-throwing!
Whether you’re camping overnight or glamping for two weeks, you’ll share outdoor adventures that will last a lifetime.
Dogs are welcome, including in the glamping accommodation.
