About This Event

Have you ever wondered what lies beyond the walls and hedges of St Davids, Britain’s smallest city? Well, wonder no more! The St Davids Open Gardens event is taking place on the 13th and 14th June 2026 at various gardens across St Davids, including ours! A unique opportunity to discover the enchanting gardens tucked away in this picturesque corner of Wales.

Penrhiw Priory is the definition of tranquillity, nestled within acres of private gardens. Guests can explore our wildflower meadow, home to traditional hay meadow species such as Bird’s-foot trefoil, black knapweed and oxeye daisy, wander our woodland walk down towards the River Alun, and enjoy the beautifully restored Victorian gardens surrounding the priory.

Our sister property, Twr y Felin Hotel, will also be taking part in St Davids Open Gardens. Explore the sculpture garden, and enjoy afternoon tea or lunch at Blas Restaurant while you’re there.

Parking for Penrhiw is available in the Meadow, which is through a gateway on the right-hand side, approximately 50 metres past Penrhiw Priory’s main entrance. Dogs are welcome on our grounds, on a lead.
Tickets available from the stall at Cross Square on 13th & 14th June.
