The cheerful sound of jingle bells is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like us, we can’t get enough of the buzz of bustling markets and festive events.

Here’s a list of what’s going on…

Christmas Fairs

Ash Farm Winter Gallery Christmas Market – 19-28th November

Join Ash Farm Winter Gallery for their dog friendly Christmas Winter Fayre this November. Expect a treasure trove of local handmade gifts whether that’s children’s toys, jewellery, stained-glass, ceramics, hand carved spoons, fine art, prints or knits – and refreshments of course!

Picton Castle Victorian Christmas Fair – 20-21st November  

With over 50 stalls inside the Victorian-themed, brilliantly decorated castle, you can shop to your heart’s content in the festive atmosphere of Picton Castle’s Christmas market. Adults can enjoy a glass of mulled wine, whilst the little ones can take part in their Christmas trail. Can you help Santa find his lost reindeers throughout the gardens? Good luck!

C & M Organics Christmas Market – 27th November, 10am-2pm

Follow the warm scent of mulled wine and mince pies to Pengelli, where you’ll find stalls, treats and plenty of cheer. It’s the perfect place to bag an early Christmas present for a loved one, or even yourself.

Oriel y Parc Christmas Market, St Davids – 27th November & 4th December

Join Oriel y Parc for their Christmas outdoor markets with a selection of locally produced gifts, crafts, food and products, a great way to support local makers this festive season. After all that shopping why not take a break and treat yourself to some tasty festive treats in the café

Growing Wild Festive Fair – 4 -5th December 2021

Dewslake Farm Campsite, The Ridgeway, Pembroke

Join ‘elf workshops’ and make your own gifts or Christmas decorations… Both children and adults can get creative!

Wild Lakes Christmas Market – 4-5th December

Twinkling lights, scrumptious food, Christmas tipis and music – all brilliant reasons to begin the magic of Christmas at Wild Lakes this year, with an added bonus of free entry, so come and bag yourself some fabulous gifts. –

Llys-y-Frân Christmas Fair – 5th December, 10am-4pm

Llys-y-Frân will be hosting their FIRST EVER Christmas Fair in the new visitor centre, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore this exciting new activity centre! Lakeside café will be serving delicious treats too, and you can make a day of it by checking out all the other Things to do at Llys-y-Fran Lake.

Pembrokeshire Agriculture Society Christmas Fair – 12th December

Withybush County Showground

Stroll in for free to find loads of different Christmas gifts, and you can also expect festive music and a chance to meet the man himself if you head over to SANTA’S GROTTO!

The Queens Hall Christmas Market – 16-18th December

This three-day, dog-friendly Christmas market includes free entry for all shoppers. You’ll find an abundance of hand-made, bespoke products and seasonal refreshments including warm mulled wine, mince pies, and delicious turkey and stuffing rolls to get you into the spirit of Christmas!

Dinas Cross Winter Market – 18-19th December

The Festive Marquee on the playing fields at Dinas Cross will be filled with stocking fillers, gifts and crafts and of course – a chance for children (and adults!) to meet Father Christmas. There will be fairground rides, a raffle with proceeds to the Paul Sartori Foundation, mouth watering hot pork rolls (or the delicious barbecue pulled jackfruit!) plus warm up the cockles with a mulled wine/cider or a creamy hot chocolate.

Workshops where you can get creative…

Hilton Court Gardens Christmas Willow Workshop – 13th November, 9:30am – 1:30pm

Join Cassandra Lishman, a talented willow weaver, and get creative with UK grown sustainable willow to produce decorations such as stars, mini reindeer, and festive platters for your mince pies. You’ll also get the chance to learn how to make wreaths made from fresh willow in RAINBOW COLOURS!

Berry Basket Weaving with Anna Stickland – Saturday 13th November

Eastgate Creative Hwb, 123 Main Street, Pembroke, SA71 4HN

Get creative and weave your own basket with Anna Stickland, a Brecon Beacons artist with outdoor instructing experience. Anna is offering a workshop for all abilities, so whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned weaver, come along.

Hilton Court Gardens Wreath Workshop – Thursday 25th and Sunday 28th November

Linda from Woodland Farm is running a wreath workshop at Hilton Court by using natural and wild methods, fresh collection of plants and trimmings, handmade birch, and locally crafted wreath bases that are reusable!

Oriel Y Parc Christmas Wreath Workshop – 12th December from 10am to 1pm

By The Sea are hosting an exciting workshop where you’ll have the opportunity to create a luxury door wreath or table piece. You’ll take away a handful of valuable skills from this workshop with plenty of one-to-one tuition. Refreshments are included.

Hilton Court Gardens A Fairies’ Winter Tale – 18th and 19th December 2021

Children can join Holly and her forest friends for an interactive performance – Holly needs to help Santa, but Snowflake, Queen of winter, is determined to stop her. Enjoy this tale packed with music, song, dance and above all watch with glittering eyes.

Performances are held at 10am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm – make sure you arrive 10 minutes before the performance start time and that you are dressed appropriately for all weathers.

Other things happening this festive season…

Folly Farm – Santa’s Grotto Weekends only from 6-7th November until 18-19th December.

Pre-book your tickets to meet Father Christmas in his Grotto at Folly Farm! You’ll also get the chance to meet Santa’s reindeer and Folly Farm Elves, who’ll bring that extra bit of magic this Christmas, as well as a special Christmas gift! Adults can enjoy mulled wine and mince pies

Tenby Blues Festival – 12th-14th November

Tenby Blues Festival have put together a programme packed with American, Australian, Welsh, Irish and English artists playing every type of Blues, and there’s a free Blues Trail all over town in different venues.

Torch Theatre’s CBeebies Christmas Show  – 4-5th December

Sprinkled with plenty of magic, festive music and dancing, join Holly and her brother Jack on their mission to send their wishes to Santa. But beware, things don’t quite go to plan… With a star cast of CBeebies presenters and on-screen talent, it truly is an engaging theatrical performance for all the family.

Haverfoodfest Christmas– 11th December

The centre of Haverfordwest will be taken over by food and drink stalls as the town celebrates Christmas. Enjoy a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to get Christmas presents for your loved ones and also to sample and eat on the day.

Narberth Santa Run/Stroll  – 12th December

Starting from Narberth Rugby Club the 3km Santa fun run, or stroll around Narberth begins at 12 noon. Don’t worry about finding a costume, the run come with a full Santa suit hat and of course beard! There will be hot food and drink plus a festival disco all afternoon.

Cinderella at the Torch Theatre – 16th-31st December

Cinderella, you SHALL go to the ball this festive season! Look forward to loads of fun, adventure and laugh-out-loud moments in this year’s pantomime with Pembrokeshire’s favourite Dame, Dion Davies, and the much-loved David Ainsworth.

Illuminated Tractor Run – 18th December 2021

Clarbeston Road, Pembrokeshire, SA63 4UR

Lit with the glow of Christmas lights, all tractor-lovers will enjoy Thomas and Pippa Bevan’s Christmas spectacular – a procession of vehicles covered head to toe in festive lights. It will be a sight to behold!

Tenby Boxing Day Swim – 26th December from 11am

Head to Tenby to celebrate their 50th world-famous Boxing Day Swim and collect money for your own good causes or the charities nominated by TSSA. The swim takes place on the North Beach on Sunday, December 26th, so why not brave the cold water this boxing day!

Fishguard New Year’s Eve Street Party 2021 – 31st December

Fishguard’s New Year’s Eve Street Party is making a return this year, and it is bigger and better than before, so, get your wristbands for the BEST STREET PARTY IN WALES! Fishguard is excited to bring you their headliner act This is Queen and supporting act Honey Fungus and Sorted with plenty going on throughout the afternoon and evening including stuff for kids all day, a mega raffle draw, 200 club draw and much more.
