In 2026, the National Eisteddfod celebrates an extraordinary milestone — 850 years of Welsh culture, language and creativity. From 1st–8th August at Y Garreg Las, with expected visitor numbers of circa 150,000 from across Wales and beyond will come together for one of Europe’s largest cultural festivals.
This is a unique opportunity for local tourism, hospitality and visitor economy businesses to showcase everything our region has to offer.
Whether you run accommodation, attractions, food and drink venues, retail experiences or visitor services, getting involved can help you:
The Eisteddfod attracts visitors of all ages looking to experience Welsh culture, explore the local area and support local businesses. By participating, your business can benefit from increased footfall, collaborative promotion and opportunities to connect with visitors before, during and after the festival.

Businesses can get involved in a range of ways, including:
The 850th anniversary celebrations provide a platform to highlight the best of our region to a national and international audience. Together, we can create a warm Welsh welcome and a lasting legacy for visitors and communities alike.
As part of Pembrokeshire’s presence at the 2026 Eisteddfod 1-8th August, Visit Pembrokeshire will have a stand by the main entrance of the Pentre’r Garreg Las ( the county presence on the Eisteddfod maes representing Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire) celebrating and promoting all things Pembrokeshire and providing a true Pembrokeshire welcome to the event.
We are delighted to be able to extend an invitation to some of our members to join us across the 8 days to help us in both selling Pembrokeshire and all that it has to offer, alongside promoting their business and organisation to what is expected to be 150,000 visitors across the week.
As the Pentre is being developed as a space that celebrates Welsh language and culture, we will be working hard to make the Visit Pembrokeshire area feel visibly and audibly Welsh throughout the week and interactive e.g. bilingual signage and visitor-facing materials alongside engaging activities.
We are therefore seeking partners who can provide:
The themes for the 2026 Eisteddfod are People, The Environment, Food Land and Sea so this really does present a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase rich diversity of the visitor experience in Pembrokeshire and what makes us so special and unique as a destination.
Opportunities are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis so if you are interested in finding out more, please email @Liz Williams by 30th June 2026

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this landmark event in Welsh history.
Get involved today and help make the 2026 National Eisteddfod a celebration to remember.
