About Saundersfoot Beach

A small but very popular resort with all the facilities you might need.

Wide flat, sandy beach at low tide but still plenty of space at high tide. Pretty harbour. Stunning views from the top of the hill.

Regular events such as The World Cawl cooking championships.

Dog restrictions apply to the whole beach except a small area just before you get to Coppet Hall beach between 1st May and 30th September. Check out a map of the beach to help with which section of beach it applies to.

A voluntary dog ban applies to Coppet Hall beach between 1st May and the 30th September. The owners of the beach, Hean Castle Estate, realise the beach can get very busy with families and might not be the best beach to bring your dog in the height of summer.

If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide!

Parking

Large privately run car park next to the harbour. Large National Park car park 200m from the beach.

Facilities

Slipway, harbour. Lifeguards from the end of June to the end of September. Ice cream van on the beach.

Onshore facilities

Toilets, numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants. Several interesting shops and a good choice of hotels, caravan parks, B&Bs and self catering.
