Lydstep Haven

Lydstep Haven is a very pretty beach consisting of sand and pebbles and backed by impressive wooded cliffs at either end.

At the north end of the beach, there is a small sandy area exposed at low tide. Behind the beach is a large caravan park owned by Haven Holidays, Bourne Leisure Ltd.

Dogs at Lydstep Haven

From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on the northern end of the beach, from the slipway northwards. The southern end stays open to dogs, and there's an alternative route for dog walkers along the back of the beach.

Dogs must be kept on a lead on the promenade and in the car parks from 1 May to 30 September.

Please keep to the dog-friendly areas shown on the map, and always clean up after your dog.

Access to the beach is on foot only through Lydstep Haven Caravan Park, alternatively, you can park at the National Trust car park on Lydstep Head.
