About Coppet Hall Beach

A sandy beach with plenty of sand even at high tide. A wide flat area of sand is exposed at low tide, which is ideal for beach games. Rocky to the eastern end with rockpools.

The old tramway runs along the top of the beach with tunnels to both the east and west to Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot.

If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide!

Please note that the dog restrictions on Coppet Hall beach have been changed. The area to the north of Coppet Hall Beach (from the central steps across to in front of the Beach Centre) remains dog-free between 10am and 5pm from 1st May to 30th September. Dogs permitted from the central steps back towards Saundersfoot.

There is new signage on all beach access points to illustrate this change this is to ensure that the beach can be enjoyed by everyone.

Parking

Large privately run car park next to the beach.

Facilities

Toilets, family changing spaces and external beach showers.

Shoreline facilities

Lan y Mor restaurant situated at the eastern end of the beach takes top prizes for view. Built right on the edge of the beach it has great views across Carmarthen Bay. There is also The Kiosk selling ice creams and hot drinks. Toilets.

Beneath Coast is a watersports and activity centre Good Trails where there are paddleboards, bikes and kayaking for hire or tuition.

Walk through the old tramway tunnels to Saundersfoot and all its facilities and accommodation.
