Daniel Barnard is on a mission to help Pembrokeshire businesses secure funding – particularly when bank funding either isn’t an available or the most suitable option. As a Commercial and Agricultural finance broker, Airedale Financial helps businesses in many different sectors including agriculture, haulage, leisure, tourism and hospitality.
Who are you and why are you here?
My name is Dan and I moved to Pembrokeshire (st Florence to be precise) in August 2025 as my Wife Alice is originally from the are and with me being able to work remote we thought it would be a great place to love and start a family, being so close to so many beaches and walks such as the coastal path it was a no brainer really.
What do you do and why do you do it?
Im a commercial and Agricultural finance broker, helping businesses in many different sectors including Agriculture, haulage, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality look at funding option such as Asset Finance, Business loans, Kitchen fit outs and commercial and land mortgages.
The reason I do it is people are unaware of all the options available to them and many just speak to there bank which isnt always the cheapest or correct option. So I want to help businesses in the Local area (and further a field) and make them aware I am local and if they are looking at investing in new vehicles or machinery or looking at a loan for there business then I am local and want to see there business thrive.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I love helping a wide range of businesses in a wide range of sectors with many different products, not every one day is the same.
How can you help prospective clients?
I can help source the right finance deal on vehicles, machinery, equipment, Loans and commercial mortgages.
