Wildwater Sauna

Pembrokeshire’s first luxury, wood-fired, mobile sauna. Promoting our relationship between health, wellbeing and nature.

Sustainable and Accessible Wellness

Nestled along the untamed shores of Pembrokeshire, Wildwater Sauna offers more than warmth - it’s an immersive journey into the heart of nature. As the county’s first-ever mobile sauna, it invites you to escape the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary, blending the Nordic tradition of hot/cold therapy with the ancient Celtic spirit of this breath-taking coastline.

Wildwater Sauna was founded in early 2023 by Scott Chalmers and Richard Lynch, long-time friends and established filmmakers with roots firmly planted in Pembrokeshire’s cinematic coastline.

It was on their travels together whilst filming in the Nordic region of Estonia where they were first introduced to sauna culture.

“We observed that it brought people together as the cornerstone of their weekly routines. Once you step into the sauna, you’re immersed in a blissful state of peacefulness and calm, leaving the sauna revitalised and ready to carry on with your day.”

Their vision? To bring this way of life to Pembrokeshire and make this mystical landscape accessible to locals and visitors alike, blending sustainability with a spirit of adventure, wellness, and reconnection.

Our home has always been this rugged National Park. We feel privileged to share its beauty while honouring its wild spirit. Wildwater Sauna isn’t just about heat—it’s about creating a space where people can pause, connect, and feel alive in the arms of nature.”

A Sauna That Moves with the Tides

This custom-built Scandinavian sauna is no ordinary retreat. Seating up to six people, it travels the rugged shores of the UK’s only fully coastal National Park, bringing the magic of wellness to the heart of Pembrokeshire’s most iconic beaches and harbours. From Nolton Haven to Pwllgwaelod, Newgale, and beyond, Wildwater Sauna sets up temporary homes that let you experience the coastline like never before.

Each 55-minute communal session (£15 per person) offers a chance to share the warmth with fellow adventurers. For those craving privacy, intimate private bookings are available for up to six people (£85), where you can bask in the embrace of the sauna’s wood-fired heat and the healing power of the sea.

As Wildwater Sauna continues to roam, plans are underway for a second sauna and a permanent home for it, offering a deeper connection to Pembrokeshire’s magic year-round.
