The Boathouse Cafe

Ynglŷn â The Boathouse Cafe

The Boathouse is part of the National Trust's Stackpole estate, former home of Lord Cawdor, and is situated on the picturesque Stackpole Quay.

Catering manager Neil Houghton and baker Karen Cox and the catering team serve locally sourced foods whenever possible and as such as the menu varies with the seasons.

Our panini, filled with local brie, bacon and cranberry, or Welsh cheddar and line caught tuna or tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil are very popular as are our baps filled with griddled Pembrokeshire beef or ham cured by our butcher Gwaun Valley Meats.

Our autumn specials using National Trust reared Pembrokeshire Heathland beef have proved to be extremely popular and have included red wine and rosemary beef stew topped with a home-made herb cobbler, and homemade 6oz burgers.

Our Cawl is made with Pembrokeshire lamb and served with bread and Welsh cheddar and is a meal in itself.

Karen bakes sweet and savoury scones and our famously large teacakes daily along with a range of fabulous cakes.

So next time you are visiting the lakes at Bosherston or Barafundle Bay, don't forget to visit The Boathouse – you're sure of a warm welcome.
