St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery

About St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery

We are Mark and Emma Evans and we knew we needed to think ‘outside of the box’ if we were to sustain our family farm for future generations. We are passionate about our farming roots, and also about the environment that surrounds us so we wanted to reflect this and allow people to connect with where there food and drink comes from. After many months of discussion we decided in 2018, thanks to a grant from the Welsh Government Food Business Initiative, to restore and diversify the old farmhouse on our family farm, which at the time came complete with elderflower tree! Over the next 2 years we worked many fantastic people to restore the old farmhouse and diversify and convert it into a micro-brewery, and in November 2020 St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery, aka Mark, brewed his first beers! Since then we have gone from strength to strength, winning a host of awards, locally and nationally, including most recently 2 gold stars for our Cwrw Clos on the 2022 Great Taste Awards! And, there are lots more exciting ideas to come… #IechydDa
