Ynglŷn â Narberth Jazz
Keith Little, after many years on the road throughout Europe, America and also the UK, returned from living in Germany to lead one of South Wales top bands; the Keith Little Hot Six, later the Keith Little Band and for this event, the Keith Little Swing Four. He is still thrilling audiences with his unique jazz touch and stunning boogie-woogie piano stylings.
Gethin Liddington will be on trumpet and has traveled widely playing at festivals and clubs across the UK including the renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. He’s a highly versatile musician who has played across a variety of jazz genres but here paying tribute to the Swing era.
Originally from Halifax in Yorkshire, Bill Fletcher learned jazz improvisation with Conrad Cork in Leicester and played with various bands in the Midlands before moving to South Wales. He has also played in “Crossed Purposes”, a jazz and dance improvisation with Cambridge Contemporary Dance. His playing interests on double bass range from dixieland to modern jazz.
Greg Evans, a fine Swing drummer, is in great demand across the UK jazz scene and has played with many different bands. His drive and sensitivity to the other musicians makes him an asset to any line-up.
