David Beattie Etching Studio and Gallery

A working artist's studio/gallery producing a superb range of finely detailed rural landscape, livestock and market character studies capturing the everyday sights that make Wales unique.

Using methods unchanged in over 400 years, David's etchings have been exhibited in Royal Academy Summer shows and sold through Christies' contemporary catalogues.

All of the works in the studio are produced and handprinted on the premises using the skilled and traditional methods of "original" printmaking.

In 2013, Annette joined the studio with her often astoundingly complex and finely detailed embroidered works of art.
David hopes he will survive the now "serious" competition!

Directions: Gallery is situated between Llechryd and Cenarth on the A484 from Cardigan. Take road signposted Llandygwydd. The gallery is opposite the telephone box situated 500 yards up this road.

Opening times: Easter to September 10am – 4pm. Closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors most welcome at other times by appointment.

Facilities: Demonstrations and explanations – subject to the artist being present. Access and parking for cars and minibuses only.
