Pembrokeshire Llama Trekking

Ynglŷn â Pembrokeshire Llama Trekking

Pembrokeshire Llamas offer a range of llama related activities for everyone. We are the oldest active camelid trekking centre in West Wales – a small family run business that has been conducting our famous llama treks around our valley for years now in a safe and fun environment. We have grown our llama services over the years, and now offer short holiday stays on our llama farm, llamas for hen dos, llamas for corporate events and more!
Lead one of our llamas on a guided tour through our wooded valley. Follow the zigzagging path next to one of Pembrokeshire’s main rivers – the Black Cleddau. Listen to gentle waterfalls, the call of red kites & buzzards, and the white noise of the river. Walk under mighty oaks and ash trees, culminating in a walk through our woods, home to many primeval trees. Discover the beauty and stories of the valley, whilst walking next to your relaxing furry friend who will be by your side every step of the way.

Parking

Feel free to bring your car down the drive – we have plenty of space. Note however that the drive is quite uneven at the moment, so can scratch the bottom of vehicles with low suspension. This can usually be avoided by hugging the right hand side of the drive as you come down. Alternatively, there is a layby at the top of our drive – feel free to park here if you’d rather avoid the risk!

Most sat navs will take you right to the gate using our post code.

From the A40 at Narberth – follow the A478 north towards Cardigan. Pass through Clunderwen and shortly afterwards pass through Llandissilio. Continuing on the A478 for around two minutes, there is a left hand turn signposted for Rhydwilym. The sign post cannot easily be seen until the driver is already upon the turning, so keep your eyes peeled. Follow this lane and signs down towards Rhydwilym. Pembrokeshire Llamas is situated half way down the hill on a double 90 degree bend – keep an eye out for the yellow grit box which is next to our gate. Also keep an eye out for the yellow llama ‘Xing’ signs in the trees near the centre.
