Aim Country Sports is our own small business that aims to provide our guests with a very big experience! Run by very professional, qualified and even more friendly instructor Jon, at Aim you will have the chance to try out activities that are different and completely new to Wales! We are the only venue offering Aerial Archery, Archery AND Axe Throwing.
Aerial Archery is new to Wales. It is very popular in USA and Europe. With this fun sport you are aiming at large foam discs that are thrown into the air by our dedicated aerial archery trap. Using special bows and arrows you try to hit them on the move. Try your hand at being the next Arrow, Katniss or Legolas. Beware, this sport is very addictive.
Archery takes place in our large barn offering weather proof fun. We have a range of targets on our special straw bosses and modern bows and arrows. This is fun, challenging and can bring out the competitive archer in you! Jon will instruct you and help you achieve success. Maybe the start to an Olympic journey!
Axe Throwing is a crazily fun activity that almost anyone from approximately 10+ can enjoy. Again this is indoors, so no weather worries. It is particularly suited to competitive guests who want to try something different. Great for team building and small groups looking for fun. Maybe you will join the World Axe Throwing League …. Who knew that such a thing existed?!
All the activities are started with a safety briefing and then Jon will take guests through the use of the equipment and offer coaching and advice in order that everyone enjoys themselves and has a rewarding experience.
Refreshments and toilets are available and parking is on site.

If you put Aim Country Sports into google maps it will take you straight to our turn off.
If you are coming from St Clears on the A477, take the right turn mark Tavernspite after the BP Llanteg petrol station, then take a left turn after about 1/2 mile on to Crosslands Road (on google Old Bulford Road), stay on this road until you see a two bladed wind turbine, when you reach that turn right and you’re there!
If you are coming in from Tavernspite, go down Lime Road, go past the turn off for Blaenhafod Campsite, take the next left down Crosslands Road (on google Old Bulford Road), stay on this until you see the two bladed wind turbine as this is our entrance, turn left and you’re 200 yards away.
