About Y Cartws
Y Cartws is a renovated outbuilding (formerly the carthouse and stables) on a sheep farm- Maesyfelin.
The owners Paul & Eirlys Williams and their family are the 7th generation of the family to have farmed here.
The cottage itself has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, and downstairs it has a Kitchen/Dining room, living room and a drying room. For more details please take a look at the website.
Situated just off the A478 Tenby to Cardigan road it is central to the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion with ample attractions to suit all the family. There is a shop and fuel station just a mile and a half up the road, open 7 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday, Sunday open till 6 pm. Plenty of pubs and restaurants with good food within driving distance.
Narberth is just 8 miles away, it is a gorgeous little market town with multicoloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings lining the high street, it is a shoppers heaven.

Y Cartws Access Statement
The cottage is approached from the farmyard. Luggage can be unloaded outside the cottage, parking of the vehicle is then approximately 5 to 6 metres away from the cottage. Access to all areas has an uneven gravel surface. Access to lawn area is 6-8 metres away from the cottage and also has uneven gravel surface.
The owners live on site and are available to assist whenever possible.
The cottage itself:
Entrance a step up to the doorway. The doorway is approx 860mm wide.
Kitchen-Diner.
Drying room with standard size washing machine.
Sitting room with 2 two seater leather sofas and 1 armchair.
Kitchen worktop height is 900mm.
2 bedrooms via two flights of stairs (10 steps in total)
The bathroom also upstairs, the door is 750mm wide. Bath height is 600mm and toilet heights 400mm.
Bedrooms- one has a double bed, second has two single beds and can have a put up bed for a third bed.
Non-feather pillows and duvets.
Remote control DIGITAL TV and DVD.
Light switches and power points at sensible heights.

Directions
From Carmarthen take the A40 towards St Clears and Whitland then follow the A40 until you get to Penblewyn roundabout, then take the A478 Cardigan Road.
Go through the villages of Clynderwen and Llandissilio.
You then come to the village of Efailwen. Take the first turning on your right which is signposted Llanglydwen.
You are now on the road to Y CARTWS. Follow this road for about 2 miles. It’s the 2nd farm lane on the left signposted Y CARTWS.
