You can bird watch from your bed while the sun rises over the sea. Sunsets can be enjoyed from the large roof terrace (accessed via a seating area on the first floor), pretty patio and garden. Water sports, fishing expeditions and boat trips and crabbing from the jetty are available in Dale, a pretty village less than a mile away with two beaches, one ideal for surfing.

There is an excellent pub in Dale and a choice of places to eat. Award-winning beaches, with further possibilities for water sports, are a short drive away, including Marloes Sands, Broad Haven and Newgale. Pretty coastal villages, such as Little Haven and Solva, offer a further selection of pubs and restaurants. The embarkation point for Skomer Island, with its amazing puffin and manx shearwater colonies, is a 15-minute drive away. Day trips can be made to Tenby and its many tourist attractions. Britain’s smallest city, St David’s, with its beautiful cathedral is less than hour away, as are the stunning Preseli Hills, the secluded beaches of the north Pembrokeshire coast and numerous historic castles. The closet beach is only 50 yards away. The center of Dale with the famous Griffin Inn fifteen minute stroll away.
