Trewern Arms Hotel

About Trewern Arms Hotel

We love our inn.

We welcome walkers and dogs enjoying the fantstic woodland riverside walking routes which finish and end at the pub to enjoy our curated selection of local ales and our delicious restaurant and bar menu in our mud-friendly slate floored bar beside warm wood stove. We like to relax in our luxurious settees in our quiet lounge, and to eat in our riverside restaurant. In the summer we enjoy a drink and some food in our secluded garden whilst listening to the sounds of the birds and the river.

Our inn, with ten spacious bedrooms, close to the small town of Newport is a perfect base for walking, cyclingand birdwatching, a couple of miles from the Nevern Estuary and close to the Gwaun Valley.

Nevern, a small village centre of around twenty houses, plays home to St Brynach’s Church with the Bleeding Yew and Celtic Cross, and also to the Pilgrim’s cross and the ruins of the historic Nevern Castle. The river, banked by grazing is bordered by lush woodland through which run numerous walks and tracks.
