Accessibility Trefalun Park is a holiday caravan park that has some static caravans for hire but is predominantly for touring and camping. • Access is reasonable with the park being split between two fields. The reception area has limited access, as there are three steps to the main door with a threshold and one step down on the side door again with a threshold. • The upper field that incorporates the static caravans and thirty touring caravans has a tarmac road encircling it with four gentle integral speed ramps. Access to the static caravans is by steps with handrails ranging from 2 – 4 tread depending on its location. However, due to the caravans manufacture, no access is available within for wheelchairs as the width of corridors would not be sufficient to accommodate them. • The lower field is for touring caravans and tents and has a hardcore road that would only be accessible for wheelchairs with assistance and the ground conditions prevailing at the time. The dishwashing area and baby changing rooms both have ramps but all facilities within are at standard height. • The toilet and shower block is not accessible for wheelchairs but the adjoining unit is accessed by ramp and opened by Radar Key and has handrails positioned at low level sink, toilet and shower (with seat). Access to the laundry room would also be available to wheelchair users but washing machines, tumble dryers and hand washing sink are standard heights. • Whilst there is a public telephone this is enclosed in an old style “red kiosk” and as such has limited access. However, mobile phone reception is very good for Vodafone and Orange networks. • Train and bus stations are situated at Tenby, 3 miles from site, nearest bus stop to site is 1/2 mile from site entrance.
