The Golden Lion has been welcoming travellers since it opened as a coach house in the 1600's. Our pub sits in the heart of Pembrokeshire, just a short walk from the coastal path and the stunning Welsh coast line. You will find great food, comfortable rooms, a cosy bar and a warm welcome, all at The Golden Lion.

The Golden Lion is in the centre of the small seaside town of Newport (Trefdraeth), on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast of West Wales. There is so much to see and do here you spend the whole summer and not see it all.
Our small, boutique hotel offers 13 en-suite rooms, each comfortably furnished with a double or king sized bed, large TV and wi-fi.
We are proud to be a dog-friendly hotel and pub. We have specific dog-friendly rooms and they are also welcome in the bar and garden areas.
