The Dairy

We are a working farm situated in a wonderful part of the Pembrokeshire National Park right on the coast.   The barn is on one level and benefits from underfloor heating throughout.  The combined living/kitchen area has amazing views and direct access to the private patio and enclosed garden.  Clever use of space has allowed the fitting of a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, ceramic hob and dishwasher in addition to ample storage space and an extendable oak dining table for 4/6 people.

The living area has 3 seater leather settee, 2 tub chairs, a sideboard, wall-mounted flat-screen TV with Freesat, Wifi, an iPod docking station, Bluetooth speaker and a wood burner.  Books, DVDs and board games are available on request.

There is a large walk-in wet room, with an overhead shower head, a handheld unit and a shower stool.  Illuminated mirrored cabinet with powerpoints and heated towel rail.

The spacious main bedroom can be configured with either a super king bed or two single beds (this needs specifying when booking). One window overlooks the old farmyard, two windows look out over the lawn.  Room darkening blinds.  Underfloor heating. Wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table, chest of drawers, bookcase, bedroom chair, mirror, TV, small desk.

The smaller second bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table, cupboard and TV.  Room for extra storage underneath the bedframe.  Velux window in the roof with room darkening blind.

We are very rural and have no mobile signal within and around the immediate vicinity of the property.  It is possible to use your mobile by enabling Wifi calling on your phone or using What’s App.  There is a landline within the property for incoming and local calls.

A Welcome Pack contains a small variety of teas, coffee pods, homemade bara brith, welsh cakes and some milk.

A travel cot, highchair and fireguard can be supplied on request.

DOGS

Maximum 1 well behaved dog. We ask that dogs don’t go on beds or soft furnishings out of consideration for our other guests. Dogs should not be left for long periods of time unattended in The Dairy, if you are out for the day we may be able to ‘dog sit’ by prior arrangement.

COVID 19
In line with the Enhanced Cleaning Protocol, we are currently asking guests to complete some basic housekeeping tasks before they leave. This enables us to keep the checkout time as 10am and helps protect future guests and ourselves (whilst cleaning). Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details.

ADJOINING FARM UTILITY (occasionally used by owners/friends with notice)

Kitchen with fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, shower and WC, underfloor heating. Can be used as a drying room for coats, wellies, walking boots and dogs. Room for dog crates/beds if required. Secure storage for mountain bikes/surf boards.

EXTERNAL

Paved patio with table and chairs adjoining the private enclosed garden fenced with stock netting overlooking pastureland. Fire pit, rotary washing line, dustbins. Plenty of parking space.

Outside tap (shower hose) for hosing off dirty dogs, sandy shoes etc…

BOOKING DURATION

July and August full weeks only (check in/out Saturdays).

We are very busy  March and April lambing and calving which is a lovely time to stay but we need to limit cleaning days so 6 nights only (check out Friday, check in Saturday).

3 nights minimum other months.

Flexible check in/out times depending on availability.
