A converted farm building on the Stackpole estate, this pretty and cosy cottage is perfect for two people, and your furry friends.
The Calf Cot was the building used to house calves. This pretty whitewashed cottage stands to the rear of Stackpole Cottage and is the perfect holiday for two complete with a cosy open fire.
Step out onto the beautiful Stackpole estate. Discover the idyllic beaches that pepper the coast, hidden wooded valley and magical Lilly ponds before heading home to warm up by the fire.
The largest town in Pembrokeshire is Haverfordwest. Just 16 miles from the cottage, explore the county capital with its numerous shops, pubs and restaurants.
Ground Floor Layout: Small hallway, sitting/dining room with open fire and galley kitchen, one bedroom (1 double) and bathroom with shower over bath.
How to Find us
Key Information
Parking: There is an allocated parking space for one car. Additional parking is nearby, free of charge.
Utilities: There is a payphone in the laundry room. There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer within the courtyard complex.
Heating: Gas central heating.
Garden: There is a small grass area directly in front of the cottage with a picnic bench. There is also a shared courtyard area in front of Granary Cottage and grass area situated to the side and rear of the Byre Cottages. This area leads down to a shingle beach. If you follow the coastal paths, this will lead to unfenced cliff tops.
Please note that behind the cottages, there is a gully running down to the sea. This is to assist with flood management. Please ensure that children are supervised.
Children: The cot in this cottage is a travel cot.
Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is at 4pm, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation. Sorry, but we won't be ready for you to arrive or drop off your things any earlier. Check-out is at 10am. Enjoy a late check-out of 4pm on Sundays. Read the full FAQs to find out more.
What is provided: The standard inventory includes most things you'd need to cook or bake, some cleaning supplies to get you started and bed linen and towels, unless otherwise stated on the webpage or your booking confirmation email. Read the full inventory to find out more.
Please note: There is a military firing range nearby (Castlemartin firing range), which may sometimes be heard from Stackpole. They do not usually have day or night firing in the main holiday season or at weekends. You can check their website for daily activity.
