Boats for pleasure and sea fishing can be hired locally during the season. Boats leave Tenby harbour every twenty minutes to visit Caldey Island and monastery.
 
Whether just relaxing and taking in the scenery, or enjoying more energetic pursuits, Tenby has the facilities to provide a most enjoyable and memorable holiday.
 
Only five minutes level walk will take you to the heart of the unique walled town of Tenby. The town is steeped in history and filled with narrow streets and interesting shops which lead to the busy harbour and another three beautiful beaches

Accessibility

We at the Belgrave welcome everyone to our hotel, with or without disabilities & we hope this may answer any questions you have. We do our very best to cater for everyone's needs big or small but we cannot recommend ourselves to a wheelchair bound customer. We offer our guests as much help as we can but there are some steps in the hotel.
 
Upon entering through the front door there is a 2’ step, from there the bar and majority of the Lounges are on one level but there are two steps to the public toilets. We have Four floors of accommodation and a lift which stops at half landings, this means there are nine steps too and from the lift. The lift does however stop on our dinning room level, so no steps there.

Directions

From the M4 which is approximately 45 miles from us. You drive West to Carmarthen, then take the A40 to St Clears, from there take the A477 signposted Tenby until you reach the roundabout at Kilgetty. Then take the A478 again signposted Tenby, after a few miles you will come to the Twy Cross Roundabout where you take the second exit.

You are now only 2 miles or so from us. Stay on this road and you will see the welcome to Tenby Sign on your left, carry on going and you will drive down a long hill and at the bottom on your right will be a Spar and Texaco Garage.

Stay in the left hand lane and on your left you will see large stone arches and take the road leading up the hill under one of those arches, it is sign posted Town Centre.

Stay on this road and you will see the medieval town walls on your left but do not turn left into the town centre, carry on driving and you will pass the fire station on your right, then after 100 yards there is Tenby’s War Memorial and Gardens at this point take the left hand turning which keeps you driving parallel to the Town Walls. Stay on this road and it will take you onto the Esplanade overlooking the South beach.

Now we are only 500 yards away. Drive along the Esplande and we are the last hotel on your right. Please feel free to park directly outside to check in and unload. After check in you can move your vehicle to our small free car park at the rear of the hotel.

By Train. Main line trains with connections travel to and from Tenby and the hotel is about 1/2 mile walk or a 2 minute taxi ride from the station.

By Ferry. The ferry operates from Rosslare to Pembrokesdock (Irish Ferries) or Rosslare to Fishguard (Stenna) Both are within easy travelling distance of Tenby.

By Air. The nearest commercial airport is Cardiff which is approximately 90 miles from the hotel. On a smaller scale, light aircraft etc there is an airport in Haverfordwest which is only 25 miles for the hotel.
