At Galwad y Mor, a little haven of comfort, peace and relaxation is waiting for you even at busy times. Our guest are often surprised at how quiet a spot we have even though we’re on the High Street. Our self catering apartments are nestled around a tranquil shared courtyard with well established shrub borders and patio tables for your relaxation or that al fresco meal. Our one bedroom apartments are situated on the ground floor and our 2/3 bedroom family apartments on the first floor split on 2 levels with some even having their own private balconies. Our central location however means that everything is on your doorstep and within walking distance and your private parking bay means you can leave the car behind and explore stress free when its busy if you wish too. Out of season the joy of having uncrowded beaches and coastline to roam is a joy to behold. We’ve been welcoming and hosting families, couples and lone travellers here for thirty five years in our family run business. Four generations of our family have been involved in hospitality having previously run a hotel here.

We are situation on the High Street with walk through access only at the front of the property, for our car park situated at the rear of the property, either arrive from the A40 and A487 from Haverfordwest down the high street, down Nun Street and around the one way system onto new street and then turn right into Maes Dyfed or drive down the Glasfryn lane which joins the A487 from Fishguard and again follow the one way system down New Street and turn left into Maes Dyfed.
We are just across the road from the City Hall on the High Street in St Davids which has a bus stop which has good links with the train station and bus stations at Haverforwest from where you can transfer if coming from Carmarthen, Swansea, Milford or Tenby directions or the Ferry in Pembroke Dock. Irish Ferries come in at Pembroke Dock and Stena Europe also runs ferries from Ireland, to Fisghguard. Buses from Fishguard arrive and depart on the corner of Nun street just one block from our apartments, just 2 minutes away. There are seasonal shuttle buses around the beaches and coast.
