Rochgate Cottages

About Rochgate Cottages

Three attractive stone cottages set around a south facing courtyard, adjacent to the owners house. Each cottage is fronted by a lawned area with flower beds, seating and a picnic bench.

Meadow Barn

A detached property, recently converted from a traditional Pembrokeshire Barn to provide very spacious family accommodation. The property has a large open plan living area with TV and freeSat, a well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms – one double with ensuite WC and one twin. The cottage also benefits from its own small garden, a conservatory and separate parking.

The barn is very attractive inside, retaining many of its original features, including exposed stone walls, original beams and brick arches. At the same time it also benefits from modern amenities such as double glazing and oil central heating.

Mincorn

A semi-detached cottage which provides comfortable & practical family accommodation with a spacious open plan living / dining room and adjacent kitchen. There are three bedrooms including one double, one single and a bunkbed room. The cottage is well equipped with a modern kitchen, dishwasher and flat screen TV with Freeview. Competitive pricing means that, out of season, the cottage is also a very spacious alternative for smaller parties.

The cottage was converted in the 1980’s and has benefited from additional recent refubishment, particularly to kitchens and bathrooms. The generous use of oak and slate for window sills and other features adds character to the property.

Eynons

A smaller semi-detached cottage (see Mincorn above). Cosy and characterful in nature with feature stone walls and oak sills and shelves. The cottage has a comfortable living / dining room with adjacent kitchen area and two small bedrooms (one double and one single). Ideal for the smaller family or for parties that want two bedroomed accommodation.

Mincorn and Eynons have a shared laundry room with washing machine, rotary clothes line and tumble dryer.

Roch

The village of Roch is close to the centre of St Brides Bay, with the golden sands of Newgale beach just 1.5 miles away and a plentiful choice of other local beaches all within a short drive. The central location makes the cottage ideal for exploring all that central and north Pembrokeshire have to offer, whilst still being relatively close to local amenities. Within the village there is a free tennis court, childrens play pub and a small pub as well as a historic Norman Castle.
