About Portclew Cottages

Portclew Cottages are situated within the spacious grounds of Portclew House Country Guesthouse and are just a stones throw from the sandy beach of Freshwater East and close to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park coastal footpath.

These seven character cottages vary in size from one, two, three and four bedrooms and each has its own individual charm.  This rural location is ideal for a family holiday, romantic getaway or business trip.

All cottages have their own garden furniture to enable outdoor dining and to relax under the Pembrokeshire sun.  Guests are welcome to use the extensive lawns where ball tames can be played or to feed the ducks in the securely fenced pond.  There is plenty of car parking area near to each cottage.

Each cottage feels home from home with smart TV, DVD player, laundry facilities, dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen.  They have oil fired central heating together with an electric fire in the lounge to ensure a warm welcome whatever the season.  All bed linen and towels are provided.

Cots and highchairs can be provided for our younger geuests.

We do not accept pets nor do we permit smoking.

Directions

By Road:

M4 to Carmarthen links with M5, M50 and major trunk roads

From Carmarthen follow the A477, turn left at Milton onto Stephen’s Green Lane for Lamphey.

In Lamphey take the B4584 for Freshwater East and you will find Portclew House and Cottages on the left as you approach the village.

By Rail:

National rail station locate din the nearby village of Lamphey, with direct trains to Carmarthen and Swansea.

 

By Sea:

From Ireland ferries sail into Pembroke Dock and Fishguard.
