Pembroke Cottage Holidays

Pembroke Cottage Holidays is a family-run business rooted based at Brotherhill Farm. Our two cottages are in the centre of a working farm where tend to a herd of suckler cattle, a flock of breeding ewes, a lively collection of chickens and there are often some pigs here too. We grow barley, swedes, and fodder beet to feed our animals and harvest silage and hay—weather permitting. You can enjoy your morning coffee looking at our animals in the fields. Depending on the time of year, you will be able to meet some of our animals. You may even catch a glimpse of a combine harvester or tractors at work in the fields.

We are deeply proud of the ecosystems we've nurtured on the farm. Our fields are home to a variety of incredible wildlife, and you'll often spot red kites and buzzards soaring above. During the warmer months, swallows flit through the air, while at night, foxes and badgers make their appearance. The pond is a tranquil haven for herons, and if you're lucky (and patient), you might even spot a newt.

Our two charming cottages are named after the historic field names on the farm: Carthouse Cottage and Hayguard Cottage. These names harken back to the days when these buildings were once a granary and a cowshed. Each cottage has been thoughtfully restored, blending rustic character with modern comfort. Each cottage has two bedrooms with zip-link beds so we can easily accommodate families, couples or even groups of friends. Carthouse Cottage also has an additional guest bed so can comfortably sleep 5.

We believe in supporting the very best of local produce and craftsmanship, which is why we’ve carefully curated our welcome hampers with goodies all made right here in Wales. You’ll find award-winning Pembrokeshire Cider from the Pembrokeshire Cider Co, which earned a silver medal at the International Cider Awards 2024. Delicious Welsh cakes from Tan Y Castell in Narberth, locally-produced honey from a beekeeper in Pembroke Dock, and tasty Griffiths Dog Treats from Pontypridd. To top it all off, the eggs in your hamper are fresh from our own farm.
