Nantwen is a luxury cottage located within the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Near the seaside village of Newport. The cottage was originally a barn, up until 2011 when we converted it into a luxurious holiday cottage for 2 and was featured as a romantic bolthole by the Huffington Post. The cottage sits at the top of a valley, with stunning vistas over the forests and fields that lie at it’s doorstep.
The cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. The farm is sequestered at the end of a private lane, and the cottage is secluded from the main house, giving guests complete privacy.
After a stroll in the countryside you can come back to relax in front of the log burning stove or take a bath in the deep claw-footed tub. With underfloor heating and blankets from a local wool mill, you might not want to go back outside.
If you’re on a honeymoon or mini-moon, then Nantwen is the perfect place to hideaway from the world. You don’t even have to venture out to the shops; why not order some delicious homemade food and relax in the secluded garden.
Inside, you’ll find elegant reminders of the building’s past in the exposed beams and wood features, carefully renovated using locally sourced material. The owners are passionate about the environment, and the building is full of eco-technology. This has resulted in Nantwen winning a Gold Award for Green Tourism, ensuring that you can enjoy your holiday without worrying about your carbon footprint.
