About Llys-y-frân Lakeview Campsite

Stay with us for a short break or holiday and enjoy the perfect getaway in this rural retreat located in central Pembrokeshire, just north of Haverfordwest. Close enough to all the action in Tenby and St David’s, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful break.

Our campsite has stunning views across the lake and has high-quality grass and hard standing pitches, many with electric hook-up.

We have first class facilities include heated  showers, toilets, wasp up area, family changing rooms, chemical toilet disposal point. We are dog friendly too.

A stay at Llys-y-frân puts you at the heart of lots of activities. Surrounding the campsite there’s watersports including kayaking, SUP, sailing and open water swimming sessions. On land we have an adventure playground, Crazi-Bugz off road driving, climbing wall, archery and axe throwing. Bike hire is available along with excellent mountain bike trails and a pump track. The visitor centre is open every day with a reception, gift shop with local produce and crafts, and a fantastic café serving hot meals, lighter snacks, cakes and ice creams.

We are a short 20 minute drive north east of the ancient county town of Haverford West. Just follow the Llys-y-Frân brown signs from the A40. We have ample parking on site with disabled parking bays close to the Visitor Centre, café & toilets. We are just over 2 hours’ drive from Cardiff, Wales’ capital city. Just head west along the M4. If you are coming from England – great news, the Second Severn Crossing known as the Prince of Wales Bridge is now toll free.

By Bike

Pembrokeshire is great for exploring on two wheels. If you are a keen cyclist and are arriving by bike you can stop and refuel at our café, get your bike checked out at our bike hub before heading off again on one of our waymarked cycle trails. Take it easy or challenge yourself by choosing to one of the 12 red, blue and green graded sections. Or you can book in advance to have a go on our Pump Skills Area.
