About Greenacres Estates - Holyland House and Hideaway Cottages
Hello, Ruth here! My husband Greg and I are the proud owners of Greenacres Hideaway and Holyland House, collectively known as Greenacres Estates.
Our shared experience in the hospitality industry has fuelled our passion for what we do and our aim is to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. At the core of our business is the belief in providing a warm and inviting “home from home” experience right in the heart of Pembrokeshire. We strive to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable during their stay.
Before settling in Pembrokeshire to start a family, I lived in Nice on the French Riviera and had the opportunity to manage high-end holiday accommodation. This is where Greg and I met whilst he was working in the Merchant Navy. I hope to bring a touch of French chic to our offerings in Pembrokeshire, adding a unique flavour to the experience.
Hidden away in Manorbier is Greenacres Hideaway and the place we call home. We love taking our Newfoundland dog Ollie to the fabulous beach at Manorbier in the mornings. Here we have a small collection of cottages, including a locally constructed cabin which we added in 2019.
Holyland House is a stunning period property which we acquired in February 2022. Together with our amazing team and through a lot of hard work, we are dedicated to restoring this beautiful property to its former glory. Greg has a deep connection to Holyland House, as he grew up playing in the woods below the property and holds cherished memories from that time.
Both properties feature ample gardens and Holyland Houses’ sprawling lawn leads down to a nature reserve where guests can enjoy a boardwalk that takes them right into Pembroke Town, immersing them in the charm and beauty of the area.
Since moving to Pembrokeshire in 2018, I have been amazed by the warm and welcoming nature of the locals. This part of the UK is truly special, and we can’t wait to share it with you during your stay.
