The single-storey, open-plan living area has oak flooring throughout and comprises a comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove, dining area and modern, fitted kitchen. Three floor-to-ceiling arched windows open onto a private terrace and lawn with views to the estuary. A door from the kitchen gives access to a panelled hallway with oak flooring, and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are two further bedrooms – one double, one twin – and a second bathroom. The staircase, bedrooms and upstairs hall are carpeted. Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, smart TV, guest wifi, independent central heating (including heated towel rails in the bathrooms) and a wood burner. The cottage has a private lawn and terrace. There is storage for bicycles, wetsuits and surfboards in an adjoining outbuilding. Guests are welcome to use the tennis court and the cottage has a badminton set and barbeque. There is ample off street parking just outside.

Directions to the cottage from from the A40 at Haverfordwest. At Haverfordwest take the A4076 towards Milford Haven. At the Macdonalds’ roundabout, take 1st exit left, signs to Hook, Burton and Llangwm. After approx 3 miles, enter the village of Freystrop. At the brow of the hill turn left signposted Hook. Enter village of Hook. Take the first left into Lower Quay Road (signposted). If you pass the shop on the left and the school on the right you have missed the turn! Lower Quay Road is a dead-end road. Fowborough Cottage and East Hook Farm are at the very, very end of the lane, approximately one mile from the turning.
