Ewebarn

About Ewebarn

The original character of this stone built barn has been retained during its recent renovation, however it now has the added comforts of underfloor heating, modern open plan kitchen and eating area, two bathrooms – one family and one ensuite,  wood burning stove, comfy seating area, and internet access. It is a really comfortable and warm holiday let suitable for all from couples to families of all ages.
The barn has its’ own private patio, enclosed garden,  barbeque area, and fabulous valley views.
With access to over six acres of enclosed meadow land, dogs and children (and grown ups!) can be let loose to walk, run, play and explore. There are benches in numerous spots to rest,  admire the views and watch and listen to the birds.
Ewebarn is the perfect peaceful holiday retreat,  near enough to the sought after independent popular shops, delis, restaurants and pubs of Narberth. It is also within easy reach of all the wonderful beaches (there are over 50 of them!) parks and castles found in the county of Pembrokeshire.

Directions

After Carmarthen keep on A40 all the way to roundabout with A478 (Narbeth left Cardigan Right ) take 3rd exit signposted Cardigan. Go down the hill past signs for a holiday park on your left then up the hill. At the top there is a farm on your left with a left hand turning just after, take this left (sign posted Bethesda and Maenclochog).
Follow this road for about 4 -5 miles until you pass a wind turbine in the fields on your right. You then go down a steep narrow hill. At the bottom take the left hand turn signposted Gelli and Penffordd.

Go over bridge and then turn right signposted Penffordd( beware bit of a blind corner ) under the railway bridge. Keep going until you reach Penffordd and at the T junction – Turn right. Approx 1/2 mile downhill you will see a sign indicating left turn to New Moat and Llys-y-fran and also a sign saying Ewebarn– take this road. (Nearly there !!) Beware satnav may well suggest to go straight on – please don’t :).

Follow this road for approx two miles (very narrow lane with passing places – yes we are in the sticks but in fact only 10-15 minutes and 8 miles from Narberth). You will pass Posty Farm on your left and then the sign for Milton on your right a 100 yards later.

The road goes uphill and more or less at the peak you will pass a lone tree on your right – slow down as on your right you should see a turning with signs saying Rhyd-hir and Ewebarn. Turn right down this lane if the gate is open please leave open if closed please close, and then down hill to the bottom where you will find Rhyd-hir and Ewebarn.

Park your car as directed by the signs then walk down the concrete path and you find gate to Ewebarn on your right.

Nearest Train station is Clarebestbn Rd or Clunderwen – We would be happy to meet and collect you from any nearby station
Bus services are available in Maenchlocog and again we can by prior arrangement collect from there.
However we would advise that having your own transport is a real must when staying at Ewebarn.
