About Cutters Cottage

Cutters Cottage is a centrally heated, self contained cottage ideally suited for all types of holidays: walking, cycling, beach or a base for exploring more of Wales. It is decorated to match its heritage with beams, vaulted ceilings and slate flooring with rugs.

The front bedroom has a double bed and a view of the sea at Glen Beach which is sandy and dog friendly too.

The fully fitted kitchen includes, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, electric cooker and larder fridge/freezer.

A family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.

Lounge area contains leather settee and chair, leather bean bags, TV with Freeview, DVD player and CD player with radio.There is a selection of DVDs, board games, books and CDs. Free WiFi is available on request.

The dining area has patio doors leading to the garden area for guest and dog use. It has decking area with BBQ and outdoor seating.

2nd bedroom has 2 single beds with pull out mattresses under for further guests.

Hair dryer, bedding and towels supplied.

Glen Beach (opposite the cottage) is only a 200m walk from the house, where you can also join the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and enjoy some of the specular views. Tenby is 3 miles away and can be reached by foot, car or bus.

Saundersfoot village is 300m, down hill (5mins walk if you don’t stop to look at the view) and has many shops, restaurants, pubs and water sports facilities, to suit all tastes. There is a bus service from the village to many local attractions. Saundersfoot hosts many events throughout the year, such as The New Years Day Swim, Christmas Fayre, Big Bang – firework display, St David’s Day and more.

The sandy beaches are suitable for all ages where families can spend the day building sandcastles and eating ice-cream.

The wild life is extremely varied from birds feeding from your hands at ‘The Lily Ponds’ at Broad Haven to occasionally spotting seals and dolphins in the bay. Take a boat trip and visit the monks on Caldey Island or go sea fishing which can be arranged in the village.

Play golf at Tenby or visit other tourist attractions like Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, The Dinosaur Park or try your hand at Go-Karting or many other activities in the area.

You could even relax with a Spa Day at The St Brides Hotel opposite us.

Accessibility

APPROACH TO HOUSE:  Cutters Cottage is 300m uphill, from the centre of Saundersfoot. From Tenby direction – Cutters Cottage is on the B4316 opposite The Glen. There is a 2 door passage through the main house to reach the cottage. You enter through the cottage through the kitchen and there are 2 1/2 steps leading from the kitchen to the bathroom and living area. A further 2 steps take you from the living area to the 2nd bedroom. All floors are slate and there are rugs and mats for added comfort.

CAR PARKING: Parking is directly outside the cottage. Extra parking can be accommodated at the front of the house (if available) or in the road opposite. Assistance can be provided to carry luggage into the cottage.

STAFF ASSISTANCE: We are happy to provide assistance on arrival/leaving for luggage and heavy items.

NUMBER OF FLOORS: Accommodation is on one floor apart from 2 1/2 steps from kitchen to living area and 2 steps to 2nd bedroom.

EMERGENCY EXITS: Cutters is fitted with fire extinguishers and fire blanket (new Sept 2012) and smoke alarms. Fire exits through front door or patio- which ever is safest at time. A spare patio door key is hanging by the patio door for emergencies.
