From Haverfordwest take the A487 towards St Davids: Continue along the A487 making sure that you pass by Newgale Beach. If you are using a Sat Nav and it suggests that you turn right in the village of Roch, don’t!!! After going past Newgale beach, continue on up the steep hill and just over the brow of the hill in Penycwm, take the first turning on the right towards Trefgarn Owen. ‘Look for the Newgale Lodge Brown Tourist Information signs.’ Continue along that road for just over 1 mile, following the Tourist Information signs, which will bring you directly to the lodge.
