Blacksmiths Cottage dates back to the late 13th century and was once the home of the local blacksmith, this truly unique property has been painstakingly restored to a high standard and has retained all of the character. As you enter the open plan beamed kitchen, dining and living area, this warm and social space is perfect to prepare that special meal with a bespoke fitted kitchen with solid oak worktops, this well-equipped kitchen with double oven is perfect for some home cooking. On an evening sit back and relax in front of the wood burner or retire to the cinema room and watch your favourite movies. Each bedroom boasts vaulted ceilings, beams, exposed stone walls and en-suite facilities with the master suite boasting a free-standing slipper bath and wood burner. On an evening you can relax with a glass of bubbles in your private hot tub and watch the stars.
Nearby you can discover the Stackpole Estate a National Trust managed house and gardens where you can discover its fantastic walks and beautiful sites including the glistening Bosherston Lily Ponds, famous for its otters and water lilies, and the stunning beaches at Broadhaven and Barafundle, with their golden sands and crystal blue waters. The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses. It has a variety of boutique gift shops, traditional pubs, and highly acclaimed restaurants. Take a boat trip to the historic island of Caldey, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years.

Blacksmiths Cottage is set over 3 floors. On the first floor are 2 en-suite bedrooms. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a log burner and en-suite bathroom. There is also an open plan kitchen dining living area with a log burner. In the cellar is a TV media room.

Directions

As you come through Pembroke town along Main Street (one-way), East Back is off to the left, almost opposite the Cross Saws Inn on the right. Free car parks are available in front of the cottages and in front of St Michaels Church, just a short distance past the Cottages, again on the left. There are also many free parking spaces along Main Street.

There is normally a parking space directly in front of Stable Cottage (adjoining Blacksmiths Cottage)), but this is not a reserved space. It should really only be used for unloading/loading (or for disabled use), as it is part of the public path/highway. There are two free car-parks in the immediate vicinity.

*** Please be aware that from the 2nd Thursday in the Month of October Pembroke is visited by the Michaelmas Fair. The fair covers most of Main Street & part of East Back, and indeed directly in front of Stable Cottage & Blacksmiths Cottage. Parking & access will be affected. ***

Blacksmiths Cottage is within walking distance of Pembroke train station.
