Pembrokeshire Coast - Holiday Destination of the Year

Visit Pembrokeshire

Now in their seventh year, the BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018 is a celebration of the British countryside and its people.

This year, Countryfile invited their readers to send in their suggestions for the greatest sites in the countryside.

Countryfile’s expert panel then gathered to review all of the submissions, and whittle the nominees down to five in each category.

The final shortlist has been announced and we’re are delighted that the Pembrokeshire Coast has been shortlisted in the Holiday Destination of the Year 2018 category.

What makes this shortlist extra special is that the nomination was suggested by you so a great big THANK YOU. We couldn’t have got this far without you.

In shortlisting the Pembrokeshire coast, judge Miranda Krestovnikoff said: “Wildlife, wildlife, wildlife. Plus stunning coastline, incredible birdlife, beautiful beaches that aren’t as busy as they are in Cornwall – it’s just wall-to-wall wonder.”

If you agree with Miranda then cast your vote for the Pembrokeshire Coast.  To win this award would be incredible for Pembrokeshire and what a way to start Wales’ Year of the Sea!

HOW TO VOTE: (Voting opens on 19 January and closes on 5 March 2018)

The easiest way to vote is online at Countryfile Awards 2018
or

We could make this a Wales clean sweep!
