Surfing is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in nature; giving you the perfect opportunity to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

If you fancy having a go at surfing then you have come to the right place!  Our qualified instructors are on hand to teach you the skills and techniques you need to get you to your feet and ride the waves.

Booking with Pembrokeshire Surf School is easy – just go to our website and book your lesson online.   If you want to get in touch before you book or just have a general surfing question, drop us an email or give us a call.  If we don’t answer straight away we are probably in the sea but will get back to you as soon as we can.

We deliver surf lessons for kids and adults of all levels and abilities, although we do have a minimum age limit of 8 years old.

Our aim is to always go to the beach where the surf is best.  This combined with some quality coaching will give you the best opportunity to stand up and cruise the waves.  The beaches we regularly use are Newgale beach, Whitesands beach, Broad Haven North beach and Freshwater West beach.

Every evening we will check the surf forecast and decide where to deliver the lesson.  Keep an eye out for a text or email letting you know which beach to meet at, we might even call you if we fancy a chat!   You will need to met us at the designated beach where we will be ready and waiting with your surfboards, wetsuits and a massive smile!

We start off every session teaching you some beach and surf safety….it’s important to know this before you jump in the sea!  Next we will show you how to paddle for a wave and pop to your feet in style, once you’ve got the hang of these moves on the beach we’ll take you into the surf.  Your instructor will be in the water with you giving you helpful tips and coaching so that you get to your feet as soon as possible.

If after a lesson you have caught the bug why not hire one of our boards and a wetsuit and spend some more time practising your newly learnt skills.

If you can already surf we can provide more advanced coaching.  As Welsh Junior Team Coach Phil has coached many of Pembs best surfers to National titles and European championships.
