Fishguard & Goodwick St Davids Day Festival 2026

The Fishguard & Goodwick St David’s Day Festival 2026, taking place from 28 February to 1 March, promises a vibrant weekend of Welsh celebration in the heart of North Pembrokeshire. With live music across local venues, a special festival market, family-friendly activities and the much-loved St David’s Day Parade on Sunday afternoon, the event brings together the whole community to celebrate Wales’s patron saint in style. Join us for a weekend of culture, colour and community spirit — Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant hapus!

Saturday, 28 February 2026 – Festival Launch & Town Celebrations

Start the day exploring Fishguard town centre, where local businesses and pop-up stalls typically join in the celebrations. Look out for Welsh cakes, Bara Brith and locally made crafts at the festival market.

10:00 – 14:00 visitors can take part in the ‘Great Welshcake Off’ trail — a fun food-focused activity that celebrates one of Wales’s most iconic traditional treats.

Enjoy live music performances hosted in venues around the town. The festival is known for showcasing local musicians and community talent, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Continue with evening entertainment in pubs and community spaces, often featuring traditional Welsh music and informal performances as part of the weekend festivities.

Sunday, 1 March 2026 – St David’s Day & Parade

Celebrate St David’s Day itself (Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant) by wearing a daffodil or leek and visiting local cafés or community gatherings taking place across Fishguard and Goodwick.

Don’t miss the St David’s Day Parade, scheduled for 14:30, starting from West Street Car Park. The parade brings together schools, community groups and residents in a colourful procession through the town.

Round off the festival weekend with more live music and family activities, soaking up the community spirit before the celebrations conclude.
