Penmeiddyn Arts and Retreat Centre

About Penmeiddyn Arts and Retreat Centre

Penmeiddyn is a small five bedroom farmhouse offering creative residential workshops, retreats and working visits.

Our vision is to create a variety of exciting programmes in a holistic way to help restore and maintain a balance in our daily lives. By integrating workshops within a retreat setting we help cultivate and enhance different aspects of the mind, body and spirit.

We offer tailor-made retreats to suit individual requirements be it yoga and meditation, guided reflection or just a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We also offer an exciting array of small intimate 4 – 7 day residential and non-residential workshops taught by a carefully selected mix of artists, musicians and therapists.

All workshops and retreats are for 6-10 people.

What makes Penmeiddyn so unique is its subtle blend of quiet rustic charm tucked within a gentle roaming valley. An idyll carved beneath ancient burial chambers and rocky tors, only two miles from the pebbled and sandy beaches and rugged coastline. The crackling wood fires and the delicious smell of organic vegetarian cuisine make this retreat warm and cosy.

Three meals a day are available to indulge your senses with our delicious vegetarian dishes (we can cater for vegan, dairy and gluten free if requested in advance)

We have single, twin and double rooms in the farmhouse with shared bathrooms. The accommodation is clean and simple and after an enterprising day, it is an absolute delight to sink into the crisp white cotton sheets. We also have a woodland yurt if you prefer and camping is also an option in the summer months.
