Outdoor Shakespeare - The Twelfth Night

The Festival Players Theatre Company returns to the enchanting setting of Lampeter House to celebrate another year of Outdoor Shakespeare.

Following The Festival Players acclaimed production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which toured through the Summer of 2022, we are delighted to announce that their 2023 production will be Twelfth Night.

This great romantic comedy has all the ingredients for another engaging Shakespeare performance from Festival Players International, the UK’s prime all-male touring company. In a colourful, costumed staging, brought to you with the Players’ customary energy, clarity, and professionalism, this tale of the pursuit of love hampered by disguise, mistaken identity, and a great deal of roisterous and hilarious trickery, is assured to entertain.

The Festival Players, patronized by Dame Judi Dench, have amassed 60 years’ combined experience of professional touring theatre on their36^thannual tour.

Lampeter House, located in the village of Lampeter Velfrey, just outside Narberth, provides the perfect setting for outdoor Shakespeare, with a small amphitheatre-style theatre built into the beautiful grounds of this lovely estate.

The performance will be open-air. The audience is encouraged to be prepared for any weathers, as the show will go on come rain or shine. Audience members are welcome to bring their own seating.

A wide range of delicious refreshments will be available at the bar, which will be stocked with locally-sourced foods.
