A feast of uplifting Orchestral Coronation Music with The British Sinfonietta, introduced and conducted by Royal Variety Show & Royal Albert Hall  Pembrokeshire based Maestro, Ian McMillan-Davidson, in stirring Coronation Marches by former Master of The King’s Music, Sir Edward Elgar & Sir William Walton, combined with favourite Film, TV & Radio Themes beloved by our new King & Queen on the eve of their Coronation.
Presented by The Friends of St Davids Cathedral in aid of Cathedral Funds.

The Programme is an exciting mix of rousing orchestral music that will be played the next day in Westminster Abbey at this historic and patriotic Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, and will also reflect their well known musical favourites from film, TV & Radio including,
Paddington 2, Desert island Discs, The Archers, EastEnders, My Fair Lady & The King and I to name but a few!

Advance booking for this popular Pembrokeshire Coronation Event strongly advised to avoid disappointment as demand is expected to be high.
Proceeds will go towards the increasing costs of maintaining the worship and fabric of the Cathedral which enjoys a particular Royal connection in being unique by having a Sovereign’s Stall in the Quire.

Accessibility

The nearest Car Park to The Cathedral is the Merrivale Car Park needing a 5 minute walk after parking.
Other nearby City Centre car parks are on Quickwell Hill, and The Pebbles requiring a steep hill walk down to The Cathedral
Oriel y Parc Visitor Centre requires a 10-12 minute walk to The Cathedral after parking.
There is some disabled parking close to The Cathedral and is limited and priority is given to wheelchair users travelling alone.
If you require disabled parking, please request a parking permit (to be displayed in your car window) when booking tickets.
