Ty Canol

About Ty Canol

Ty Canol is set within a delightful part of Pembrokeshire countryside, just minutes from the superb coastline of this very special part of Wales.

One of two converted stone cottages here at Porthiddy Farm, Ty Canol is set in a very peaceful and attractive spot to escape to. Walkers will delight at the coastal paths nearby and there is ample opportunity to explore St.Davids (15 minute drive away) with its stunning Cathedral, excellent restaurants and boutique shops, or idle days away on the beautiful beaches nearby.

FEATURES

* Awarded 5* from Visit Wales
* Charming and well-presented cottage
* Rural location
* Welcomes up to 2 dogs

Upon your arrival at the cottages, one of the first things the owners recommend to do is make your way down to the beach on foot, across the neighbouring fields at Porthiddy Farm West, through the rough common in the valley and stop and take in the views of the bay. This short walk will take you past old cottages built for fishermen and workers at the old slate quarry (now the “Blue Lagoon”) and is instantly uplifting, particularly if you’ve had far to come. It is a fantastic spot to catch a spectacular sunset as you look out west from the beach.

ACCOMMODATION

Set on two floors, Ty Canol is full of cottage charm. The large kitchen provides a warm welcome and is well equipped with butler-sink, wooden table, chairs & cupboards, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The back door opens out onto a small patio area with outdoor seating. Also on the ground floor is a comfortable sitting room with TV, DVD player, and a downstairs bathroom with a full suite and shower over the bath. Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms – a family room with a double and a single, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. There is also a shower room upstairs with shower, WC & wash hand basin.

OUTSIDE

The back door leads to your small patio terrace area with outdoor table and chairs for you to enjoy breakfast alfresco.

There is a small-shared storage shed for storing your bikes, surf-boards, etc.
