Ty Bet is situated in the small quiet village of Llandeloy in the heart of the St David’s peninsula, 5 miles from St Davids city, Pembrokeshire. St Davids is Britain’s smallest city and is one of Wales’ most iconic sites.
Explore the 12th century cathedral and its grounds or take a wander into the historic centre and a short walk around the city. Browse the art galleries, gift shops and cafes. Visit Oriel Y Parc Gallery, which displays collections from the National Museum of Wales and local artists.
The harbour town of Solva is 3 miles from Ty Bet, as is the surfing beach of Newgale. Abercastle and Porthgain are 5 miles to the north. There are beautiful sandy beaches within driving distance, and it’s a great place to discover this stunning unspoilt coastline.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is near, with its stunning cliff scenery, beaches, birdlife, wildflowers and sea life – including seals and dolphins. For fantastic views, – walkers can head for the summit of Carn Llidi – one of the finest hills in Pembrokeshire.
There is also an abundance of sporting activities in the area, from golf to paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing.
